Do you have an invisible wall? Do you know what an invisible wall is? So an invisible wall is where you keep coming up against your invisible wall. That’s all it is. So if you find that you’re wanting to grow your business or scale your business or bring in new products or new services or do something new in your business like that, and it feels like, no matter what you try, you just can’t seem to get there, that’s an invisible wall. If you have taken online courses and been really excited to start and then kinda lost interest and not finished them, that’s an invisible wall. And if you’ve done that more than once, that’s a pretty strong invisible wall. If you’ve hired a coach and you haven’t got the results you were wanting to get out of it, that’s probably an invisible wall. Invisible walls pretty much suck! And until you do some energy work to clear that wall out so that you can shift past it, it’s really hard, you’re going to keep hitting up against it time and again. And I know that because I’ve been there and done that, and it sucks. So if that feels like you, take heart because you can clear them.
Invisible walls are really nothing more than energetic blocks or limiting beliefs. It just feels like this wall because you keep hitting into it time and time again, no matter what you do to try and get past it. So, limiting beliefs and energetic blocks are often things that are in place since childhood. Our limiting beliefs are generally in the subconscious mind and have been there for a very long time, and often we have no conscious awareness of them at all. So, while consciously you might want to grow your business, if at a subconscious level something in that feels unsafe, then that’s what this wall is all about, it’s going to keep you held in the safe spot, in the safe place. It’s not going to let you go into territory that feels unsafe for you. No way. That’s what this is here for, it’s to keep you safe. But, that might have been there keeping you safe when you were three or five or seven or nine, you probably don’t need it now. It’s like old programming that you don’t need anymore, but if it’s holding you back then you’re going to need to do something about shifting beliefs and energy to move past it.
Usually fears about shifting past invisible walls, it’s usually when we’re wanting to expand into a bigger version of ourself, like we talk about growing our business or scaling a business or creating new offers or products. It’s usually about stepping into new territory where you haven’t been before, and it’s usually fears around anything. Visibility and being seen, it’s “am I worthy of this? Am I good enough for this? Do I have the confidence to do this? Do I have what it takes to step into that level? Is it going to demand too much of me time wise or energy wise? Or is it going to pull me away from my family and my friends too much?” Or, sometimes, it’s simply a case that we don’t have a clear vision of where we want to be that we want to grow to or expand to. So that’s the sort of things that can feel unsafe, and they’re usually lurking somewhere below what we are consciously thinking about as we go about our day.
So, that’s essentially the type of things that are going to keep you on the safe side of your invisible wall, but it’s not really serving you to have it there, so what do you want to do? Do you want to shift it or do you want to just keep repeating your patterns? So the choice is really up to you. If you want to shift it, there’s a couple of things you can do. The first thing to my mind really is to just acknowledge that it’s there. So no more pushing against it in denial, no more pretending that this next course is going to be the one to fix you, or that this coach is going to be the one to solve your problems. It’s really a case of taking ownership of our own behavior and our patterns, and recognizing that we might have to do some work on ourselves if we want to get past this pattern and this wall, and into where we want to be. So that’s the first thing.
The second thing is taking some time to think about what you actually want that’s on the other side of it. So often when this invisible wall is here, we don’t have a lot of clarity about what’s on the other side because the wall’s blocking us from seeing. So if you’re saying “I want to grow my business”. Well, how do you want to grow your business? What is it that you want? What is the growing the business look like? Is it more clients? Is it more time in your business? Is it scaling your business and putting in more automation? Is it increasing your offers and your products? Is it increasing your prices? Be clear and get specific about how you want to grow the business and what it is that you want that’s past here and that you keep feeling blocked about. So that’s the second thing.
The third thing then is to start really feeling into the energy of what you want. So we’ve just identified that this block is here. We’ve identified what you want that’s past it. So now, spend some time, morning and night is a good idea, couple of minutes morning and night, really feeling into the energy of what you want that’s on the other side. So feeling the energy. What does it feel like to have new clients? What does it feel like to scale and to have more automation in your business? What does it feel like to increase your prices or to have your new products or offers already available? So what does that really feel like? And feel into the good feeling emotions around that. Does it feel exciting? Does it feel powerful? Does it feel successful? Does it feel like fun? Does it feel freeing? Does it feel expansive? What’s the really good feeling part of it that you like?
And the more you can anchor yourself into that energy, and that’s why I say morning and night, it’s that anchoring in, the more you can anchor in to that energy, and you’ll start to be able to step into that energy yourself. And new ideas and new actions will start to come through for you in that energetic space, which is past the invisible wall. So I’m not doing anything, we’re not doing anything here about clearing out the wall. When I work with clients one on one, I do work with them to clear things out and then step into the energetic space of where they want to be, but on your own, don’t worry about that, just feel into the space of where you want to be. And that’s going to be enough to start getting you some results. That should be enough for you to start getting some new momentum and start actually taking physical actions towards what you’re wanting to create.
